Teacher of the Year

I was just driving down the road yesterday, minding my own business, & as I was stopped by a crossing guard, I glanced over & saw this…

Luckily I had my camera with me so I could share it with the world!

Congratulations indeed, Linda! You’re awesome!!!

On Monday, Z & I visited Seldom Scene Farm,  an alpaca & llama farm in Frankfort, for shearing day!  It was awesome fun & I just wanted to share.  I learned A LOT & cannot wait to go again!

The 3 pictures at the end of the group were added just in case you wanted to learn something!  The 1st of the 3 is the raw fiber from the alpacas, right off of the cutting room floor.  The second image is called roving, which is the fiber cleaned & combed, ready to be spun.  The third is the beautiful  finished product, a gorgeous hank of alpaca/merino blend yarn.  YAAY!!!

This is, of course, Lily.  She’s just so pretty I wanted to show her off.  She’s getting so big, she barely looks like a puppy anymore!
